The Bar Grip was not designed for powerlifting competitions. It was designed to optimise less than ideal training condition. The bar grip might not be allowed in competitions (IPF or otherwise) but is an aid for when trying to push hard in the gym each and every day.

How do I size my Bar Grip?
All Bar Grips are true to size, meaning if you follow the sizings charts on the product pages then this will give you the perfect size. If you are between sized we usually recommend sizing down. This is because of the cotton/lycra blend in the fabric it is more stretchy than you think. Also the Bar Grip tends to work better when the tee is a little tighter to the body and has a bit of purchase against the skin.
